Mondays on Graphic Grace

Good morning everyone! It’s a new day and it’s time to start something new here at Graphic Grace. I absolutely loved having Jen Manly write a guest post a couple months ago. It is my desire to provide a safe place for people to tell their stories so that others may benefit and feel like they can tell their stories as well. Jon Acuff calls it “giving people the gift of second.”

The point isn’t simply “telling our stories.” It’s about recognizing the fact that we all have stories. We aren’t bragging about our failures. Instead, we are being honest. We are training our hearts and minds and spirits to recognize God’s grace at work in our own past and present circumstances.

It all comes back to this question: Do we really believe that what we believe is really real?

Is God big enough, powerful enough and loving enough to redeem even the worst of our selfish and prideful failures? I believe he is. I can testify to His grace from personal experience. Again, this is not a place for me to brag about myself or to puff myself up in any way. If anything, it is a place to boast in the Lord, my God!

With all that said, I want to use Mondays to allow people to tell their stories. I’ve already got a couple guest authors lined up and I will be posting one of them later today. But I need more! If you are interested in writing on this blog, please contact me via my personal email:

Take some time to pray about how God would have you give others the “gift of second.” In the meantime, jump over to Jon Acuff’s blog and read what he has to say about it.

Make sure you check back in later today to read a guest post from a girl named Sarah Moon. I am so stoked to post her article and introduce you to her blog!

Have a wonderful Monday everyone!
